Korean wave is blazing. I've always been a huge fan of Korean films and TV series, and in my humble opinion, these are the best of the best Korean movies ever that you must see.

The Classic

Genre: Drama, Melodrama, Romance, a bit comedy

The film tells the connecting love stories of a mother and daughter. The story of the mother is told partially in going back to the past. This will truly make you burst into tears, without a doubt. If you're into sweet and dramatic love story, give this one a try

A Moment To Remeber

It's about a career woman who has everything and was born with a silver spoon in her mouth gets dumped by her already-married boyfriend. She tries to get over him and forget. Now that she thinks she found the right one, she has to face the undeniable fact that she has an Alzheimer'sdisease which is erasing her memories…

100 Days With Mr. Arrogant

It's about a beautiful ex-con who has been recently released on parole and is planning to attend her sisters wedding. On her way she crosses path with a shy and unsure young man who is on his way to see his girl friend in Seoul. By a small series of unexpected events, the precious ring that he planned to give to his girl friend end up in her possession, which at the same time, loose her bag. With only information she had chance to gather on him, she decides to find him, give him back the ring and take back her bag (which contains a duck that'll she'll give to her sister as a wedding gift). However, at the moment of giving back the ring, her old lying habit kick back and obviously, hilarity and adventure ensues.

My Tutor Friend 1

This is about a college female student who has been struggling with financing her education since she began her degree program, which forced her to become a part-time tutor. The young man has spent the last three years studying in the United States and — due to his ambivalence toward his studies — he has failed to graduate as a senior in each of those three years. For his part,  he would rather not have anything to do with his new tutor and attempts to scare her away. Meanwhile, she is just as determined to accomplish her objectives with him, and as the two wage psychological warfare with one another, an unexpected friendship and romance begins to bloom.

Junko wants to find another place, but the owner desires to keep Junko as a guest and offers Junko free Korean lessons from Jong-man. It is going to be some adventure for Junko in Seoul!

200 Pounds Beauty

A high school girl posts a reply message to a mean post on her school’s website. Ji Eun Sung (a bully from a nearby technical college who posted the first message) starts to stalk her, saying that he’d kill her. She ends up being his slave (because she kissed him by accident when trying to escape). He’s really cold and she’s bubbly. They hang out a lot together, and her friends oppose the two. They fall in love. They both gets beat up and ends up in the same hospital. She starts dating his enemy, Kim Han Sung (who was his friend, until their mutual friend died in the beach). Eun Sung leaves for the United States. A year later (at the first snow fall), they meet again.

I've never watched Korean films, but you've gotten me interested. One thing -- watch the spoilers! It's no fun to get too much of the plot in advance.
